PHLEBOTOMY COURSE
Phlebotomy (from the Greek words phlebo-, meaning “pertaining to a blood vessel”, and –tomy, meaning “to make an incision”) is the process of making an incision in a vein with a needle in order to obtain a sample for analysis and diagnosis. The procedure itself is known as a venipuncture. This course will add extra-curricular experience for all students that will work in the health care environment. Having this skill will improve your chances of getting that first job and will broaden your working possibilities.
